Twenty years of reading rooms, and a mixed-age dance floor is the hardest room there is. Ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, MC. Chicago and the western suburbs.
Ceremony & cocktails
Separate sound for the ceremony, wireless mics for officiant and readings, processional and recessional to your choices. Cocktail hour set to match the room.
Reception
Open format. Your grandmother and your college roommates are on the same floor and neither should be waiting out three songs in a row.
MC services
Clear introductions, timeline calls, announcements. Brief and warm. Your wedding is not my set.
Photo & video
Your photographer usually leaves before the floor gets going. I’m there until close, and I shoot. Coverage can be added to any wedding booking.
Uplighting & screens
Uplighting to match your colours, and a full video-DJ setup if the room takes a screen.

Before
you ask
Do you take requests?
Yes, filtered through what you tell me beforehand. You’ll give me a do-not-play list and I’ll hold that line for you all night, which is usually the more important half.
How far do you travel?
Chicago and the western suburbs are home — Elmhurst, Oak Brook, Naperville, Wheaton, Downers Grove, Hinsdale, La Grange, Lombard. Further out is possible; ask.
What do you need from the venue?
A 6ft table, two dedicated 15A circuits near the floor, and a load-in window before guests arrive. Full technical details are on the talent buyer page.
Do you have backup gear?
Yes. Redundant controller, spare cabling, and a backup music library on separate media. Twenty years means I’ve had things fail and I don’t plan to have it show.
Can we meet before booking?
Yes, and you can also just come to Fitz’s Pub in Elmhurst on a Friday and watch me work a real room before you decide. That’s the most useful meeting there is.
What does it cost?
It depends on hours, location and whether you want media coverage. Send the form with a budget range and I’ll come back with a real number and two options.
